Coach-ed. is the coach education programme setup and managed by CSM Foundation. The education programme aims to develop and educate football coaches through 2 approaches.

 

• 1) To develop new coaches through FA Coaching Course qualification course delivery.

• 2) To provide an opportunity for existing volunteers to become qualified, enhancing the quality of coaching provision available at grassroots football clubs.

 

Through consultation with County FA’s, local grassroots clubs, and volunteers, one of the key reasons why there is a lack of coaches at grassroots clubs is because of the cost and lack of time available to complete the course. Because of this, we access funding to minimize the cost for individuals and run our own courses in collaboration with FA Tutors at a time and date that suits individuals.
